RCT comparing a target LDL <70 to LDL 90-110 using a statin, ezetimibe or both in patients with recent stroke or TIA as well as cerebrovascular or coronary atherosclerotic disease, finding significantly fewer major cardiovascular events in the lower-target group without increased incidence of ICH or newly diagnosed diabetes.
