Retrospective Review of Cerebral Mycotic Aneurysms in 26 Patients: Focus on Treatment in Strongly Immunocompromised Patients with a Brief Literature Review _____ A retrospective review and discussion of presentation and management of mycotic aneurysms in immunocompromised patients | LINK |
Clinical utility of cerebral angiography in the preoperative assessment of endocarditis _____ A single-center retrospective analysis of patients with infective endocarditis who were felt high-risk for mycotic aneurysm and received cerebral angiograms, finding aneurysms in 4.6% of patients. Absence of evidence of intracranial bleed on MRI and absence of focal neurologic deficits or AMS both had high negative predictive values for the presence of mycotic aneurysms in this population. | LINK |
